Daylight Savings

Evan keeps old electronics after they don't work. He stores dead laptops in the closet until I throw them out. He still has his old cell phone, because he never lets it out of his sight - he brings both into the bathroom while he showers so I don't mess with them. I think he keeps the old one mainly because he has some good Wizard of Waverly Place episodes with his voice dubbed over recorded.

This was fine until daylight savings. Then his old phone wouldn't update but the new phone did.

I changed the bathroom and stove clocks on Sunday morning to the new time. On Monday morning, he changed them back to the old time to match his old phone. He was an hour early to work.

Evan handed me a printed picture of a battery powered clock. He said he needs a new one. I was confused because the one he has now still worked. He explained that he needs a new one because his old alarm clock matches the time on his old phone (which doesn't have a cellphone plan and doesn't get updated for daylight savings). So he needs a new clock for his new phone now that the time changed.
